Jason Wilson kept the Rockford Aviators (30-41) off the board during his six innings of work and the Lake Erie Crushers (39-32) beat the Rockford Aviators, 8-6.

Wilson struck out six and allowed one walk and four hits.

Trevor Stevens racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.

Tanner Witt reached base four times. He singled in the eighth and ninth innings.

Kyle Brueggemann ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his eighth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.
