Jay Austin racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Southern Illinois Miners. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

The Windy City ThunderBolts couldn't get anything going so long as Rick Teasley was on the hill. The Windy City ThunderBolts managed just four hits off of the the Southern Illinois Miners' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Kyle Robinson did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Windy City ThunderBolts, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.
