Ryan Kresky went 1-2 as the Washington Wild Things (43-26) took home a 1-0 victory over the Frontier Greys (24-45) in seven innings at CONSOL Energy Park on Sunday.

Matt Sergey brought the heat against the Frontier Greys during his outing. Sergey held the Frontier Greys hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five.

Shawn Blackwell improved to 8-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Washington Wild Things. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Clint Wright ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
