Kyle Robinson went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Windy City ThunderBolts (24-37) to an 8-4 victory over the Rockford Aviators (27-35) on Monday at Aviator Stadium.

Michael Schaub brought the heat against the Windy City ThunderBolts during his outing. The Windy City ThunderBolts managed just one hit off of Schaub, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Daniel Cropper recorded his fifth win of the year for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Josh Slaats ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked four and struck out three.
