The game between the Normal CornBelters (30-31) and the Normal CornBelters went into extra innings, but when the last out was recorded the Normal CornBelters emerged with a 6-3 victory.

With the score tied at three, Tyler Shover came to the plate and singled, bringing home Patrick McKenna.

The River City Rascals (38-24) couldn't slow down McKenna, who paced the Normal CornBelters with five hits. He singled in the second, eighth, and tenth innings and doubled in the fourth and twelfth innings.

Jason Postill had an impressive outing against the River City Rascals' lineup. The River City Rascals managed just one hit off of Postill, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Brian McConkey reached base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth and twelfth innings.

Chris Carmain got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Carmain struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Ethan Carter (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
