Juan Sanchez had two extra base hits, helping the Lake Erie Crushers (31-26) to a 7-2 victory over the Frontier Greys (18-40) on Wednesday at All Pro Freight Stadium.
He homered in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.Zach Gordon recorded his first win of the year for the Lake Erie Crushers. He allowed two runs over five innings. Gordon struck out two, walked one and gave up four hits.
Brandon Rohde ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out three.
Vincent Mejia, Andrew Davis, Anderson Hidalgo and Sanchez helped lead the Lake Erie Crushers. They combined for eight hits and four RBIs.
