The Traverse City Beach Bums (12-20) built an early edge on Saturday, but the Lake Erie Crushers (17-15) roared back to steal a 2-1 victory at Wuerfel Park.
While the Traverse City Beach Bums led until the sixth inning, the Lake Erie Crushers worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Andrew Davis.
Todd Kibby got the win for the Lake Erie Crushers thanks to 10 strikeouts. Kibby allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks over seven innings.
