Stephen Rodgers came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as Rodgers reached on a in the two to lead the Evansville Otters (14-9) to an 11-4 win over the Gateway Grizzlies (15-10) on Thursday at Bosse Field.

Seven runs in the first three innings helped the Evansville Otters blow out the Gateway Grizzlies. A three-run home run by John Schultz in the second inning helped the Evansville Otters put some runs on the board early.
Schultz racked up five RBIs on four hits for the Evansville Otters.
Robert Ramer put together a nice outing. The Gateway Grizzlies managed just one hit off of Ramer, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out nine during his six innings of work.
Andrew Aizenstadt (1-2) took the loss for the Gateway Grizzlies. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked four and struck out two.
