Tyler Lavigne handled the Frontier Greys' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Lavigne allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks over six innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Frontier Greys' Ramon Ortega. Ortega went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.

Jacob Liedka had an impressive outing against the Southern Illinois Miners' lineup. Liedka held the Southern Illinois Miners hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Britt Robertshaw improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Southern Illinois Miners. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Cameron Lamb couldn't get it done on the mound for the Frontier Greys, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
