The Top Speed Baseball (39-7) beat the South Bay Storm (21-18) 7-3 in seven innings on Sunday at St. Vincents H.S. behind Josh Egan, who went 1-2.

He tripled in the sixth innings.

The Top Speed Baseball relied on Corey Lathram to eat up innings en route to the win. Lathram allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Marcus Wise racked up three RBIs on three hits for the South Bay Storm. He singled in the first inning, homered in the third inning, and doubled in the fifth inning.

Gabe Katich (4-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out one.
