The California Warriors (21-15) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-1 to the South Bay Storm (20-13) on Saturday.
While the California Warriors led until the fourth inning, the South Bay Storm worked their way back and took the lead on a sacrifice fly by Ryan OMalley.
It was a good day at the plate for the South Bay Storm's Jesse Medrano. Medrano went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Clayton Nodal pitched lights out for the South Bay Storm. Nodal gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his seven innings of work.
Steve Baker was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
