Dominic Orlando went 2-2, helping the South Bay Storm (10-7) to a 9-5 victory over the Nevada Big Horns (7-13) on Saturday at Kings Academy HS .
He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third inning.Jake Chambers paced the Nevada Big Horns at the plate. Chambers went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.
Gabe Katich recorded his second win for the South Bay Storm even though he allowed five runs over 6 2/3 innings. Katich struck out nine, walked two and gave up eight hits.
Zachary Muenster was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out one.
