Dominic Morbidelli had three RBIs as the Alameda Merchants (21-19) took home a 7-4 victory over the Sacramento Heat (16-24) at College of Alameda on Saturday.

Nick Hudson kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Sacramento Heat batters. Hudson allowed two earned runs on seven hits and one walk over eight innings.

Brett Loughlin got on base three times in the game for the Sacramento Heat. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Chase Hunt-Murray was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in eight innings, walked one and struck out five.
