The South Bay Storm need extra frames to finish the Alameda Merchants, win 4-3

The South Bay Storm (25-22) took home a marathon 4-3 victory over the Alameda Merchants (25-23) on Tuesday at College of Alameda.

With the South Bay Storm trailing by one, Dustin Miller came to the plate and singled, plating Peter Danna.

Miller had a hot bat for the South Bay Storm. Miller went 4-6 and drove in one. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third, ninth, and twelfth innings.

Harper White had an impressive outing against the Alameda Merchants' lineup. White held the Alameda Merchants hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out five.

Cameron Lenz was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the South Bay Storm batters and allowing one run.

Matt Urakami got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Urakami struck out none, walked three and gave up one hit.

Michael Echavia couldn't get it done on the bump for the Alameda Merchants, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
