The San Jose Fontanetti's didn't put up much of a fight on Saturday, as the Alameda Merchants (16-18) cruised to a blowout 8-1 win in eight innings at Cabrillo College.

The Alameda Merchants scored three runs in the second on the Alameda Merchants scored in the second on an RBI double by Dean Aliamus, a hit by pitch, a sacrifice fly by Wyatt Foreman, and an RBI single by Dominic Morbidelli.

Foreman racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Alameda Merchants.

Ricky Delgado kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the San Jose Fontanetti's batters. Delgado allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks over six innings.

Fisher (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out five.
