The Solano Mudcats and the Alameda Merchants (9-12) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Solano Mudcats that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-3 win at Will C. Wood.

Andrew Hobson did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Alameda Merchants, reaching base four times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

AJ Quintero improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Solano Mudcats. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Robb Woodcock (1-2) took the loss for the Alameda Merchants. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked six, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
