Brenden Shaffer went 1-3 as the Chemeketa (11-10) took home a 3-2 victory over the Clark (15-8) in seven innings at Chemeketa Baseball Stadium on Friday.

Layne Sutten pitched lights out for the Clark. Sutten held the Chemeketa hitless over 3 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Brady Williams recorded his third win of the year for the Chemeketa. He allowed two runs over five innings. Williams struck out two, walked three and gave up two hits.

Kevin Hamann (2-4) took the loss for the Clark. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
