Chad Sedio went 1-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Chillicothe Paints (4-3) to a 3-1 victory over the Butler Blue Sox (4-3) on Tuesday at VA Memorial Stadium.

The Chillicothe Paints got the win thanks in large part to Jason Byers's dominant, seven-strikeout performance. Byers allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over six innings.

Forrest Perron had two extra-base hits for the Butler Blue Sox. He tripled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and singled in the eighth inning.

Tyler Ferguson couldn't get it done on the bump for the Butler Blue Sox, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
