The Columbia Basin fall 11-5 at the hands of the Treasure Valley

The Columbia Basin (22-10) had a tough outing on Wednesday, as the Treasure Valley (26-8) dominated in an 11-5 win at Columbia Basin Baseball Field.

The Treasure Valley scored four runs in the first on an RBI single by Jerren Larimer, an RBI single by Colin Drury, and a two-run single by Matt Bryan.

Brady Baker put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Treasure Valley. He tripled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

The Columbia Basin couldn't get anything going so long as RJ Rouse was on the hill. The Columbia Basin managed just one hit off of the the Treasure Valley's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his four innings of work.

Dalton Johnson was hot from the plate for the Columbia Basin. Johnson went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.

James McDonald got his third win for the Treasure Valley despite allowing five runs over five innings. McDonald struck out four, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Ryker Ford (1-4) took the loss for the Columbia Basin. He allowed six runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.
