The Tacoma (20-1) jumped out to an early lead on the Concordia JV and captured a 10-0 victory on Wednesday at Minnitti Field .

With nine runs in the first three innings, the Tacoma left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Will Shanahan, an RBI single by Devin Riley, a groundout by Reed Johnson, and a sacrifice fly by Matthew Hirsch in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Connor Cloyd, an RBI double by Jeremy Spring, an RBI double by Brett Nielsen, an RBI double by Shanahan, and an RBI single by Johnson during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Tacoma.

Shanahan boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Tacoma.

Cory Main pitched lights out for the Tacoma. The Concordia JV managed just one hit off of Main, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his four innings of work.
