The Clackamas (4-12) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of an 11-6 ballgame against the Lane (16-8) on Saturday at Clackamas Community College Sof.
While the Clackamas led until the fourth inning, the Lane worked their way back and took the lead on a groundout by Konner Reddick.
Reddick racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Lane. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Cody Watkins went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Clackamas. He singled in the second, third, and sixth innings.
Travis Kelley improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lane. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.
Vince Rodus (0-2) took the loss for the Clackamas. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
