An impressive effort by Peter Lecce led the Lower Columbia (23-7) to a 9-6 win over the Lane (18-10) on Friday at David Story Field.
Lecce rocked the Lane with two home runs. Lecce went 2-4 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Lecce homered in the fourth and seventh innings.
Kyle Rossman recorded his second win of the year for the Lower Columbia. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered two hits.
Chris Neifert ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
