The San Francisco Seagulls get late runs to finish off the California Warriors, 12-5

The San Francisco Seagulls (25-21) used a four-run explosion in the seventh inning to get past the California Warriors (25-21) 12-5 on Saturday at Fairmont Field.

Paul Murray had a busy day at the plate, collecting four extra-base hits. He tripled in the second inning, doubled in the fourth and fifth innings, and homered in the seventh inning.

John Tierney picked up the win for the San Francisco Seagulls. Tierney allowed three earned runs, four hits and four walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Cameron Merriwether racked up three RBIs on two hits for the California Warriors. He doubled in the fifth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Kyle Olver (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

The San Francisco Seagulls were sparked by Duncan Hendrickson and Murray, who teamed up for eight hits and eight RBIs.
