The Melville Millionaires (5-3) built an early edge on Friday, but the Swift Current Indians (5-2) roared back to steal a 4-1 victory at Pirie Field.

The Swift Current Indians took the lead in the eighth inning on an RBI single by Jake Gonzalez.

The Swift Current Indians were led by a flawless day at the dish by Matt Spillman, who went 3-3 against the Melville Millionaires' pitching. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Chris Haddeland picked up the win for the Swift Current Indians. Haddeland allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out six over eight innings of work.

Homero Ortiz (1-1) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
