The Okotoks Dawgs (3-2) blew out the Lethbridge Bulls 14-2 on Monday at Seaman Stadium after pouring on eight runs in the third inning.
Jerod Bartnik racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He tripled in the third inning and homered in the sixth innings.
The Lethbridge Bulls (2-3) couldn't get anything going as long as Cody Artalejo was on the mound. Artalejo gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.
Hayden Cleveland improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Okotoks Dawgs. He allowed two runs over five innings. Cleveland struck out five, walked two and gave up six hits.
Andrew Case (1-1) took the loss for the Lethbridge Bulls. He allowed seven runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
