The Alameda Merchants (13-3) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the California Warriors captured a blowout 9-1 win at College of Alameda.

The California Warriors scored three runs in the seventh on a hit by pitch, a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by Slater.

Merriwether racked up three RBIs on three hits for the California Warriors. He singled in the fifth innings and doubled in the third and sixth innings.

Toccalino brought the heat against the Alameda Merchants during his outing. The Alameda Merchants managed just one hit off of Toccalino, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Jesse Schumacher (1-1) took the loss for the Alameda Merchants. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
