The Falmouth Commodores (15-9) jumped out to an early lead on the Brewster Whitecaps (9-16) and captured a 9-1 victory on Monday at Arnie Allen Diamond.

The game was decided quickly as the Falmouth Commodores exerted their will early with six runs in the first three innings.

A solo home run by Dylan Davis during the second inning helped the Falmouth Commodores put some runs on the board early.

Kevin Cron racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Falmouth Commodores. He homered in the third inning.

Kevin McCanna struck out five hitters en route to the the Falmouth Commodores win. McCanna allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over five innings.

Matt Pirro (0-3) took the loss for the Brewster Whitecaps. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out five.
