An awesome effort by Josh Taylor spurred the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (5-7) to a 2-1 win in eight innings over the Lethbridge Bulls (7-7) on Tuesday at Cairns Field, Saskatoon, SK.

Taylor got the win for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets thanks to 10 strikeouts. Taylor allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks over eight innings.

Hans Ask was solid at the plate for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. Ask went 2-3 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Andrew Case allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out four over six innings of work.

Archie Davis was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
