Goodall's walk-off single send the Yorkton Cardinals home winners, 12-11

A walk-off single from Liam Goodall brought home the winning run for the Yorkton Cardinals (15-30) in a 12-11 victory over the Regina Red Sox in 10 innings at Jubilee Park on Sunday.

Goodall racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Yorkton Cardinals. He singled in the second, sixth, and tenth innings.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 23 runs and 36 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were 10 pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Alnardo Rodriguez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Yorkton Cardinals. He homered in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Taylor Metzger recorded his first win of the year for the Yorkton Cardinals. Metzger struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Jacob Leyba couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Regina Red Sox (22-23), taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed one run.
