The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets make the most of 6 hits in 4-2 victory over the Yorkton Cardinals

Both the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (15-15) and the Yorkton Cardinals (10-22) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-2 win at Jubilee Park.

Jake Moore racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Michael Meany paced the Yorkton Cardinals at the plate. Meany went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Jared Locke improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He allowed two runs over six innings. Locke struck out two, walked two and gave up six hits.

Shaniel Rivera was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
