An impressive effort by Ryne Drummonds led the Regina Red Sox (15-15) to a 13-0 win over the Edmonton Prospects on Tuesday at Currie Field.

Drummonds kept the Edmonton Prospects (6-24) off the board during his seven innings of work. Drummonds allowed two hits, one walk and struck out four.

The Regina Red Sox's bats came to life in the fifth inning. The Edmonton Prospects had no answer as the Regina Red Sox scored eight runs.

Chase Benfield got on base four times in the game for the Regina Red Sox. He scored four runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Michael Nelson was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked eight and struck out two.
