Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Melville Millionaires (13-12) and the Yorkton Cardinals (9-16), as the two teams put up 25 runs combined in a 14-11 the Melville Millionaires win.

The two teams combined for 30 hits in the game.

Jose Fortuna racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Melville Millionaires. He doubled in the sixth inning, singled in the sixth inning, and homered in the eighth inning.

Michael Meany paced the Yorkton Cardinals at the plate. Meany went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the second and sixth innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Callaway Kirkpatrick got the win, running his season record to 3-3. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Matt Whitehead couldn't get it done on the mound for the Yorkton Cardinals, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The Melville Millionaires easily handled the Yorkton Cardinals pitching as six hitters combined for 14 hits, 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
