The Swift Current Indians (16-8) didn't stand a chance on Monday, as the Lethbridge Bulls (10-14) captured a blowout 9-3 win at Spitz Stadium.
The Lethbridge Bulls scored two runs in the eighth on an RBI double by Justin Clarkson and an RBI double by Corey Wood.
Wood had three extra-base hits for the Lethbridge Bulls.
Mac Major had an impressive outing against the Swift Current Indians' lineup. The Swift Current Indians managed just two hits off of the the Lethbridge Bulls' pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his seven innings of work.
Matt Henriksen paced the Swift Current Indians at the plate. Henriksen went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.
Michael Noteware couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Swift Current Indians, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out three.
The Lethbridge Bulls' Mitch Dornblut, Travis Steinke and Wood combined for seven hits and five RBIs.
