Matt Redfearn went 2-3, helping the Lethbridge Bulls (9-14) to a 2-1 victory over the Swift Current Indians (16-7) on Monday at Spitz Stadium.
He singled in the second and ninth innings.The Swift Current Indians couldn't get anything going so long as Myles Vincent was on the hill. The Swift Current Indians managed just one hit off of the the Lethbridge Bulls' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out nine during his six innings of work.
A bright spot for the Swift Current Indians in the defeat was Chris Haddeland, who allowed only two runs while striking out eight.
Tyson Hudson improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lethbridge Bulls. Hudson struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.
Haddeland couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Swift Current Indians, taking a loss.
