The Edmonton Prospects (3-18) had a tough outing on Monday, as the Okotoks Dawgs (15-5) dominated in a 9-3 win at Telus Field.

The Okotoks Dawgs scored three runs in the first on a fielder's choice and a two-run single by Jason Manis.

Zac Asman did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Okotoks Dawgs, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the sixth innings.

Hayden Cleveland's seven strikeouts were enough to push the Okotoks Dawgs past the Edmonton Prospects. Cleveland allowed three earned runs, five hits and two walks over seven innings.

Sean Guite racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Edmonton Prospects. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Justin Hanks couldn't get it done on the mound for the Edmonton Prospects, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out six.
