The Okotoks Dawgs' offense erupts for 15 runs in blowout victory over the Edmonton Prospects

The Okotoks Dawgs (15-4) continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 15-3 landslide win over the Edmonton Prospects (2-18) at Seaman Stadium.

The Okotoks Dawgs scored six runs in the sixth on an error, , a two-run double by Jerod Bartnik, and a two-run single by Zac Asman.

Ryan Serrato racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fifth innings.

Dominic Porretta brought the heat against the Edmonton Prospects during his outing. The Edmonton Prospects managed just one hit off of Porretta, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Sean Guite had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Jordan Geiger (0-1) took the loss for the Edmonton Prospects. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out one.

The Okotoks Dawgs easily handled the Edmonton Prospects pitching as six hitters combined for 10 hits, 13 RBIs and nine runs scored.
