The Melville Millionaires (7-5) outlasted the Weyburn Beavers (4-8) on Sunday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 6-5 win at Tom Laing Park.

The Melville Millionaires pulled out the win thanks to a strong twelfth inning. An error scored Homero Ortiz and gave the Melville Millionaires the lead for good.

The Melville Millionaires held off the Weyburn Beavers, as the Weyburn Beavers were unable to overcome a three-run twelfth inning deficit.

The Weyburn Beavers scored two runs in the twelfth on a two-run home run by Carter McEachern. Despite their efforts, the Weyburn Beavers couldn't get over the hump.

Garrett Killgore racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Melville Millionaires. He homered in the fourth inning, singled in the sixth inning, and doubled in the tenth inning.

Cody Rosecrans improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Melville Millionaires. He allowed three runs over 3 2/3 innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Spencer Kidder (0-1) took the loss for the Weyburn Beavers. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
