The Yorkton Cardinals (3-5) continued to pile up the runs on Saturday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 14-5 landslide win over the Moose Jaw Miller Express (5-5) at Ross Wells Park.

An error and a three-run home run by Kameron Mizzell helped the Yorkton Cardinals score four runs in the sixth. The Yorkton Cardinals had two hits in the inning.

Matt Chavarria racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Yorkton Cardinals. He singled in the second and third innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Matt Benn racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He homered in the fourth inning.

Aaron Dick got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. Dick struck out one, walked none and gave up five hits.

Ben Bridges ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.
