An outstanding effort by Ben Bridges lifted the Moose Jaw Miller Express (4-4) to a 13-5 win over the Yorkton Cardinals (2-4) on Friday at Ross Wells Park.

Bridges blasted two home runs for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. Bridges went 3-5 in the game with two RBIs and three runs scored. Bridges homered in the second and eighth innings.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express blew out the Yorkton Cardinals thanks to 15 hits, including zero extra base hits. A home run by Hunter Johnson helped the Moose Jaw Miller Express score four runs in the fifth. The Moose Jaw Miller Express had four hits in the inning.

Nick Gallipeau had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the fourth inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.

Marshall Dean recorded his second win for the Moose Jaw Miller Express even though he allowed five runs over nine innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered 14 hits.

Steve Barnett ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out one.
