The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (1-5) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Lethbridge Bulls (2-4), recording a 13-5 victory on Friday at Spitz Stadium.

Six runs in the first three innings allowed the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Justin Cook, an RBI single by Luc Simpson, a groundout by Landon Briscoe, and an RBI single by Kyle Sandelescu in the first inning and a groundout by Jake Moore and an RBI single by Simpson during the second inning fueled the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets' offense early.

Moore racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets.

Ryan Pidhaichuk put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Lethbridge Bulls. He doubled in the third and fifth innings.

Matt Cook got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered six hits.

Dennis Neal was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out three.
