A walk-off single from Ben Grillo brought home the winning run for the Yorkton Cardinals (2-3) in a 5-4 victory over the Melville Millionaires (3-2) in 11 innings at Jubilee Park on Tuesday.

Grillo got on base three times in the game for the Yorkton Cardinals. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fourth and eleventh innings.

Dylan Gross racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Yorkton Cardinals. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the tenth inning.

Shaniel Rivera allowed one earned run, five hits and five walks while striking out five over six innings of work.

Kody Rock improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Yorkton Cardinals. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Callaway Kirkpatrick was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
