The Medicine Hat Mavericks (5-0) outlasted the Lethbridge Bulls (1-3) on Tuesday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 11-6 win at Athletic Park.
CJ DeDeaux racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.
Ryan Pidhaichuk did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Lethbridge Bulls, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the ninth inning.
Alex Bos improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He allowed one run over one-third of an inning. Bos struck out none, walked none and gave up two hits.
Andrew Case (0-1) took the loss for the Lethbridge Bulls. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out five.
