The Melville Millionaires (2-1) were never able to get over the hump and get over their troubles against the Yorkton Cardinals (1-2) on Sunday, as the Melville Millionaires fell 4-3 at Pirie Field after falling behind by four runs in the fifth inning.

The Melville Millionaires scored three runs in the sixth on two singles. Unfortunately, the Melville Millionaires weren't able to take the lead back.

David Toth brought the heat against the Melville Millionaires during his outing. The Melville Millionaires managed just one hit off of Toth, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his five innings of work.

A bright spot for the Melville Millionaires in the defeat was Chris Sadberry, who allowed only zero runs while striking out five.

Alex Webb (0-1) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
