The Edmonton Prospects outlast the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets in high-scoring affair, 11-10

The bats were busy at Telus Field on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Edmonton Prospects (5-19) had an 11-10 win over the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (11-12).

The two teams combined for 31 hits in the game.

The Edmonton Prospects got their bats going early, scoring three runs in the first inning to pull ahead of the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets.

Tony Olsen reached base five times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first, third, and eighth innings.

Jake Moore racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

Cory Duggan got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

Jacob Hein (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.
