Kendell H hit two home runs to carry the SNIPERS (2-1) to a 22-0 win over the Street breed (2-1) at Airport Field # seven in four innings.
Eight runs in the opening three innings allowed the SNIPERS to easily put away the Street breed. A two-run home run by H during the first inning and a single by Andrew Bauer, an RBI single by H, a single by John Rockfeld, a two-run home run by Jim Dougher, and a sacrifice fly by Shawn E in the second inning supplied the early offense for the SNIPERS.
Stephen Ramano got the win for the SNIPERS. He pitched four shutout innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered four hits.
The SNIPERS hammered the Street breed pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 21 hits, 20 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
Bryan couldn't get it done on the bump for the Street breed, taking a loss. He allowed 22 runs in four innings, walked one and struck out none.
