Randy Wells went 1-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Las Vegas Train Robbers (29-20) to a 6-2 victory in seven innings over the Trinidad Triggers (30-21) on Sunday at Central Park.

He homered in the first inning.

Kager Hopkins got the win for the Las Vegas Train Robbers thanks to six strikeouts. Hopkins allowed one earned run on eight hits and one walk over seven innings.

Mike Mullen brought the heat against the Las Vegas Train Robbers during his outing. The Las Vegas Train Robbers managed just one hit off of the the Trinidad Triggers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Nick Rodesky (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
