The Taos Blizzard (20-27) and the White Sands Pupfish (21-26) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Taos Blizzard capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-5 win at Aquarium.

Cody Coffman racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Taos Blizzard. He homered in the fifth inning.

Mark Leacox racked up three RBIs on two hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He homered in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Even though Kody Gordan allowed five runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out five, walked five and surrendered five hits.

Matt Gibbs ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.
