The Laredo Lemurs (10-2) built an early edge on Tuesday, but the Winnipeg Goldeyes (10-2) roared back to steal a 4-3 victory at Shaw Park.
While the Laredo Lemurs led until the sixth inning, the Winnipeg Goldeyes worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Amos Ramon.
Ryan Scoma put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. He doubled in the sixth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.
Mark Hardy got the win for the Winnipeg Goldeyes thanks to six strikeouts. Hardy allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk over seven innings.
Mark Serrano couldn't get it done on the hill for the Laredo Lemurs, taking a loss. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
