The Amarillo Sox fall 10-4 at the hands of the Wichita Wingnuts

The Amarillo Sox (4-8) didn't have a chance on Tuesday, as the Wichita Wingnuts (7-5) won in blowout fashion, 10-4 at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

The Wichita Wingnuts scored three runs in the eighth on an RBI single by Jake Kahaulelio and a two-run single by Derek Perren.

Kahaulelio racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wichita Wingnuts.

Chris Grossman paced the Amarillo Sox at the plate. Grossman went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Christopher M. Smith improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wichita Wingnuts. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Joe Newby (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked two and struck out five.

The Wichita Wingnuts easily handled the Amarillo Sox pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, five RBIs and nine runs scored.
