The Kansas City T-Bones finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. A steal of home by Matt Padgett gave the Kansas City T-Bones the lead for good.
Padgett racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Kansas City T-Bones. He homered in the second inning and doubled in the eighth inning.
Sean Toler got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Toler struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.
Clay Zavada (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
